Pure Inspiration

I am absolutley obsessed lately with photography and how amazing people are at taking pictures. I love everybody's difference in ideas. I came across this site on Caitlyn's blog and I cannot stop looking at it.. One day when I maybe get married.. I want her as my photographer. I will go to great lengths to make it happen. Mark my words.. Well, unless something better comes along. But for now.. Mark them.

Sweet Shots

Last night I went up to Sandy to have dinner with my 2 old roommates - Shannon and Alexa- and with Parker. Park just got home from his mission in Ecuador last week. He basically used to live at our apartment with us. Love him. We always used to go to Chilis, its our signature place. So of course, we had to go to dinner there. Also, Love Chilis.

Carol Anderson is my friend Mary Kate's mom. Last wednesday, she passed away at age 52. She has been battling a rare form of Alzheimers for the past 6 or so years. Caitlyn and I had the chance to drive up there on Sunday to be there for the viewing and the funeral - in Shelley, Idaho; population - 9

Carrie and her husband came down and surprised MK. We had to keep it a secret all week long and that was hard. But I was so glad that we were all able to be there and wished Tiana and Jessi could've been there too. I love my friends.

Honesty

So today, after probably about 4-5 years, I went to the beloved 7 peaks waterpark. My friend Caitlyn has a season pass, and added me to her parking pass, so I decided I'd better go at least once.. It was a perfect day, although I could have been more careful with the sunscreen.. oops. I seem to be bad at that.. Anyway, I think all this color on my head has finally sunk in and gone to my brain because somewhere on the walk from the front gate to our towels, my wallet mysteriously slipped out of my purse and was gone. I didn't notice until later that night when I went to put my moms credit card in my wallet - that wasn't there. I called Caitlyn in a panic to see if she possibly had it. She did not. Finally my mom convinced me to call 7 peaks "just to check". I thought, who would turn in a wallet? I doubt its there. I finally got someone in the main office, explained what my wallet looked like and she said, "oh yeah, its right here at the front desk. Someone turned it in earlier."

Really? Thats so nice.. Even if they had taken it, they wouldn't have gotten very far but still. For someone to find that and turn it in- I must be in Provo! I was so happy that I did not have to go through identity theft.. too much of a hassle. This would have NEVER happened in Texas...

Sleepy Weekend

I love this weeekend.. well not LOVE, but love the fact that after having surgery all I can do is just lay here and watch TV and take pain pills. Its the best. Except for when I'm in pain. On Friday, the Dr. took out my gall bladder. Hopefully I'll start feeling better soon! I'm not posting any pictures because I look like crap and I can't shower until tomorrow. gross.

I am totally in love with Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory's Carmel Apples. Seriously, they are amazing. And they have a million different kinds. It makes me happy on a day when I'm grumpy.. like today. Everybody go get one!!
